AfriGlobal PrimeLink is a global affiliate platform that connects people ("Seekers") to vetted institutions and companies ("Partners") in education, healthcare, e-commerce, industry and other sectors. Our service is free for Seekers, we earn a commission from Partners when a referral succeeds.
1. Who is responsible for your data
AfriGlobal PrimeLink is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions or requests, contact us at support@afriglobalprimelink.com or through our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a minimum of technical data:
Information you provide
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, country, the Partner or programme you are interested in, and any message you send.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Partner applications: your company name, contact name, email, phone, sector, country, website and message.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data needed to serve and secure the site (such as your IP address and browser type), handled by our hosting and security provider.
- Local storage in your browser used to keep the site working and, if you install it, to run offline. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect payment information from Seekers, because Seekers never pay AfriGlobal.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and tell you exactly what is needed to begin the process.
- To connect you to the relevant Partner and follow up on your behalf.
- To reply to contact messages and review partnership applications.
- To send you the newsletter, if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We rely on your consent (which you give when you submit a form or tick the consent box) and on our legitimate interest in running the platform. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Sharing your information
We share your information only as needed to provide the service:
- With the Partner you enquire about, so they can process your referral, and only after you have expressed interest.
- With service providers who act on our behalf, under agreements that protect your data: our email provider (Brevo) to send and receive messages, and our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) to serve the website.
- Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of AfriGlobal, our users, or others.
We never sell your personal information, and we never send you spam.
5. International transfers
Because we connect Seekers to Partners around the world, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the country where a Partner is located. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected wherever it is processed.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide the service, follow up on your enquiry, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).
7. How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
